Η Αννα Κουρνικοβα βρέθηκε 2 φορές στις κερκίδες του τουρνουά Nasdaq-100 Open για να παρακολουθήσει τους αγώνες της Anastasia Myskina. Η Αννα παρακολούθησε στις 26 Μαρτίου τον αγώνα της Myskina εναντίον της Victoria Azarenka και στις 29 Μαρτίου εναντίον της Maria Sharapova.Οπως ομολόγησε σε μία συνέντευξη χθες, πήγε στους αγώνες της Anastasia γιατί είναι φίλες από 5 χρονών και ήθελε να της συμπαρασταθεί. Ενας δημοσιογράφος την πλησίασε για να τις πάρει μερικές δηλώσεις αλλά η Αννα αρνήθηκε και είπε απλά οτι ήταν εκεί για να υποστηρίξει μια φίλη της (την Anastasia).
